Hands-on corrections
What makes Taijiquan (Tai Chi) special are the millimetre-precise posture adjustments only a skilled teacher can give you. These will align your body and open up your energy channels. If you could learn just by copying the moves, it would suffice to simply buy a DVD. Come practice with us and feel the difference a correct posture makes for your body.
Meditation and Relaxation
Is it possible to meditate by coaxing your mind into it? Can you relax just because you were told to? Surely not. Meditation requires your whole body and mind complex to be involved. Relaxation is a profound skill that takes time to be acquired. Come learn, and we will position your body so it is able to relax allow meditation to happen.
Qigong built-in
Taijiquan (Tai Chi) is built on top of Neigong — internal energy work, and Qigong — circulation of vital energy. At the start of each Taijiquan (Tai Chi) class, you will practice the Qigong that powers our movement from inside. By learning Silk Reeling Qigong you will be able to understand what happens inside your body in every Taijiquan (Tai Chi) posture, and why.
20 years experience
I have more than 20 years experience practicing and teaching Taijiquan (Tai Chi). I have lived in Chenjiagou, China, the birthplace of Taijiquan (Tai Chi), and have travelled or lived to other 5 countries following my Master. I’ve trained many Taijiquan (Tai Chi) Instructors and supervised the certification of tens of others. With extensive multicultural experience, I can bridge the cultural gap and show you what the ancient teachings mean for you body.
Chen Style, the original one
Taijiquan (Tai Chi) was created by a warrior chinese clan, in the middle ages. This is the ascertained historical fact, recognized by the Chinese government itself. We teach Chen Style Taijiquan (Tai Chi), pure and unchanged, as passed down in his family through the centuries until 20th generation Master Chen Yingjun. The complete system is taught, starting from a Beginner Program, all the way to practice with traditional weapons like sword, halberd and spear.
